DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES AND PRONOUNS

Singular:
This (este, esta, esto)
That (ese, esa, eso, aquel, aquella, aquello)
Plural:
These (estos, estas)
Those (esos, esas, aquellos, aquellas)

This, these se refieren a algo que se encuentra cerca del hablante:
This is my sister´s room
These are my new shoes
That, those se refieren a algo que está más lejos de la persona que está hablando:
That is the teacher´s pen
Those are your things
